A great viewpoint looking west along the Columbia River. Another station along the former SP&S Railroad now operated by the BNSF Railroad.
Wishram (formally Fallbridge) was a major division point on the SP&S Railroad. The west to east line along the northbank of the Columbia River started in Portland, continued on to Pasco and then northeast to Spokane. The line that starts here and then crosses the Columbia River, proceeds south along the Deschutes River and then on to Bend. Connecting rail lines connected with the SP&S at Bend and provided access to California points. This became known as the "Inside Gateway". Source: Austin and Dill, SP&S, Pacific Fast Mail
