Cruz Roja de Salamanca
La Cruz Roja es una organización humanitaria fundada por Henri Dunant en 1863. Su trabajo se basa en los Principios de Humanidad, Imparcialidad, Neutralidad, Independencia, Voluntariado, Unidad y Universalidad. Las funciones que desempeña varían de país en país, pudiendo incluir la promoción de los principios fundamentales y los valores humanitarios, la preparación e intervención en caso de desastres o la mejora de las condiciones sanitarias. En 1864 se fundaba Cruz Roja Española, teniendo lugar el primer envío de ayuda humanitaria en 1870 con motivo de la guerra franco-prusiana. Por su parte, la actual sede de Cruz Roja en Salamanca se inauguró en julio de 1997.
The International Red Cross Movement (IRC) is an international humanitarian movement founded by Henri Dunant in 1863. Its work is based upon the basic principles of Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality. The actions developed by the IRC the may vary from one country to another, but commonly include promotion of humanitarian principles and values, relief assistance in emergency situations, support of local health care projects and others activities. Spanish Red Cross was founded in 1864, being one of their first missions the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Franco-Prussian War in 1870. On the other hand, the organization’s current headquarters in Salamanca was opened in July, 1997.

Como es bien sabido, Cruz Roja desarrolla misiones humanitarias en muchos países. Simplemente hay que localizar a qué país corresponde cada bandera y sustituirla por el número de la silueta del país en cuestión.
