Geocache Description:

This should be a quick and simple cache & grab... a great way to start building your GeoSenses and offers an opportunity to do one of my favorite things... introducing the kids to the beauty around us that we all tend to rush past. BYOP

Where’s the Hare?

The inhabitant that is found under this cache is wondering, "is the hare ahead or behind me?" He went to ask all is friends the pheasants if they had seen the hare but they had all flown from the farm.  Seems as though everyone has left our friend and local inhabitant, the turtle, behind so be sure to drive slow and wave so that he doesn't feel so alone.

I have stopped at this spot a few times to help a friendly (and not so friendly snapping-) turtle make it across this back road.  There was a sign at one time that said Slow, Turtles crossing. but it seems to be gone now.  Please be careful when you are going after this, my first ever cache, not to disturb the turtles from migrating from one side to the other.  It should be a quick and simple cache & grab... a great way to start building your GeoSenses and one of my favorite things to do... introducing the kids to the beauty around us that we all tend to rush past.

Don't forget to bring your pen.

Enjoy.

Congrats to Maine to Massachusetts for getting another FTF!
