Geocache Description:

J.O.E. I-395, Exit 88

JOE is an acronym for "just off exit". These are caches designed to be simple park and grabs near major thoroughfares. These help folks who are travelling get a caching fix, keep a streak alive, or just plain help pad your numbers.

This cache is a nano. If you've never seen one, they are amazingly small. The logs can be difficult to get out, so a pair of needlenose pliers or tweezers might be handy. There is no pen, so bring your own writing implement.

Here are some tips, please read carefully and help us all by heeding:

  • These are in high muggle areas. If you can't retrieve the cache without being seen then please don't try. Ignoring this can lead to other folks having undesireable DNFs as well as the cache owner (CO) having to purchase a new cache container (CC). One useful technique is to act like you're on the phone wandering as you talk. This will often let you roam free and periodically check a place with relatively little notice.
  • There is no ziplock back for this cache. If you want to retrieve it in the rain, please use an umbrella or better yet take it to your care before you open the CC.
  • Please return the cache just like you found it, not too close, not too far, not too shallow, not too deep, not too much cover, not too little cover. The goal is for everyone to have about the same experience and chances for success.
Please have an easy cache on me. Please let me know if the logs is getting full or wet, or if there is some other problem. Please try to leave this place better than you found it (that may be difficult, but it is a noble goal).

Thanks for caching with the Chipster and have a great day.
