Geocache Description:

Just a park and grab, but a beautiful spot to see the York River estuary.

There are "No Parking" signs at the bridge, but a quick stop probably won't be a problem. Better yet, bike to this spot! I wouldn't try to come by boat; the banks are too muddy to get out. The cache is a small screw top container.  There's a small but useful item inside for the first to find.

I've paddled up here many times from Scotland Bridge or launching points.  Great blue herons, geese, otters, muskrats, seals, foxes, deer, and even a moose are among the animals I've seen around the river.  See the related website for more information and history.
