You can see the Csombárd Meadow it is a Nature Protection Area on sandy land of Belsö-somogy. The total length of the route is 3,800 metres tour-retour in case you park your car at the recommended place.
The coordinates you can see above are the ones of the first stage. You will find two micro-box (1st and 2nd stage) and then you can see how to modify this coordinates: N46° 25.945’ E17° 39.180’ to gain the coordinates of the third point. Recommended parking place: N46° 26.646’ E17° 38.769’ North to Mezöcsokonya village. First stage. A little box in a hollow of a fir wood N46°27.099’ E17° 39,304’. You get A.BCD’ from this box. Second stage: A little box at the stem of a bush N46° 26.961’ E17° 39.660’ You get W.XYZ’ from this box. Third stage. Modify these coordinates in this way: N46° 25.945’ + A.BCD’ and E17° 39.180’ + W.XYZ’ to get the coordinates of the third stage! The Csombárd meadow is a Natural Protection Area but you can walk here without restriction – permit is not needed. This NPA shows the conserved landscape of Belsö-Somogy (Inner-Somogy) sandy plain as it was perceptible a few centuries ago. The sandy croplands of poor productivity didn’t were suitable for profitable tillage activity but only for extensive grazing. You can see sandy pastures, paludal forests and swampy puddles as well as a fishing pond here. You know there were dammed fishing ponds in every village (village community property) in the middle age to supply fishes to eat in the fasting-days. The Roman catholic people said: the fish is not meat! You won’t harm the environment and won’t collect the protected plants. The caches are placed out of the border of N.P.A.
