A caching buddy shared a goal with us: to be a well rounded cacher, keep your puzzle finds over 10% of your total finds. We have spent more time solving puzzles since then and are really starting to enjoy many of them... we are at 12.8% puzzles right now and hope to stay above 10%. Here is another puzzle to help with keeping your percentage up! Coincidentally, this is our 10th hide, and now 50% of our hides are puzzles.
The given coordinates are the approximate location of a Bald Eagle nest located in the Scituate reservoir. It can be viewed from Rt. 116 near Central Avenue; there is often viewing equipment set up there. We used to walk to this area and watch the eagles, often including hatchlings. The spot won't help you to solve the puzzle or find the cache, though.
Parking to the west of the cache is preferred over parking to the north. Cache is a round lock & lock. Coords taken with Magellan GPSr. Please sign the log(online finds without a corresponding physical log signature will be deleted)and rehide as found to prevent muggling. Flower bulbs(since we know they won't be there long!)or a printed canvas for FTF. Image
