Kätkö Repoveden kansallispuiston alueella Karhulahden laiturin ja nuotiopaikan läheisyydessä.
Kätkölle voit siirtyä joko patikoiden tai polkupyörällä tai vesitse Repovettä myöten. Patikkaretkelle tai polkupyöräretkelle voit lähteä helpoiten Saarijärven parkkipaikalta (matka kätkölle ~4km suuntaansa), tai Tervajärven parkkipaikalta, mutta tällöin kävely- tai pyöräilymatkaa tulee huomattavasti enemmän. Lapinsalmen parkkipaikalta kätkölle pääsee patikoiden. Vesitse kätkön lähelle pääsee näppärästi lähtemällä liikkeelle esimerkiksi Hillosensalmelta ja rantautumalla Karhulahden laituriin.
Kätkön lähellä on nuotiopaikka, myös polttopuita on saatavilla lähellä olevasta liiteristä ja WC löytyy. Hieman kauempana mäellä oleva kota on lukittu ja tarkoitettu kodan edustan piha-alue mukaanlukien ainoastaan vuokrakäyttöön, joten ethän häiritse mahdollisia maksavia vieraita !
Kätkö löytyy myös talvella. Kätkö on luonnonsuojelualueella. Käyttäydythän sen mukaisesti. Kätköstä on ilmoitettu ja saatu julkaisulupa metsähallitukselta. Lisätietoja alueesta löydät Metsähallituksen verkkosivuilta.Link
The cache is located in the national park near the boat platform of Karhulahti. Near the cache is located also camp-fire place where you can eat your packet lunch. Little bit further there is also a hut but the hut is reserved only for paying customers !
Several trails lead to the cache site. You can go by foot, bicycle or travel the lake if you wish. If you choose to hike, best place to start your journey is the Saarijärvi parking place (trail to cache ~4km in one direction). If you want to hike little bit more the other altenativies to start are Lapinsalmi parking place or Tervajärvi parking place . If you want to row or paddle, you can start from the Lapinsalmi or Hillosensalmi canoe platforms and come ashore direct to Karhulahti platform. When hiking around keep in mind that the area is a nature preservation area, so please be on your best behavior. For further information corcerning area visit .Link
