Take a nice hike up the Hammond Trail.
Parking is off Scott Road which is off of Route 16 North of Chocorua (on the left side when heading north) and opposite the giant boulder. Please park in the designated area, and do not continue past the parking onto the private drive.
Bald Mountain cache has been dormant for too long. So I hid a couple of caches along the way and explored past the older cache to hide another. The Hammond Trail faces south and the lowere part is open beech/oak forest, so it dries out early in the spring and is full of sunshine.
Cache is not winter friendly. It is located at the base of a fine example of... cache name homophones.
