This cache was created by an 8th grade Hawaii Preparatory Academy student for extra credit in her science class. She was given the opportunity to create and help hide a cache. Her requirements for the cache is that at least one person in the group searching and hopefully finding this cashe will be female. All contents of the cache are oriented to girls rather than boys.
In order to find this cache the searchers must be familiar with three hawaiian terms. a'a, pahoehoe, and puka. So either using the internet, books or asking people, you must find out what these words mean.
To find the cache, park at the overlook, and follow the boundary where the a'a and the pahoehoe come together. When you are near the coordinates, look for a puka about 1 by 3 feet.
The original cache contained:
-
2 rings
- bracelet
- stuffed cow
- body mist
- body glitter
- blank card
- log book, pencil and sharpner
Good Luck
