This is our first cache and we wanted to hide it in a place special to our family so we chose Dittisham, or 'Ditsum' to locals. My Nan was born in one of the cottages on the Quay 100 years ago (1913) and she is buried with other family members in St George's churchyard.
The cache can be found up a public footpath off Higher Street. Approaching from this direction, the tree is to the right of the gate. Junior cachers thought the tree looked like it had come straight out of Harry Potter and resembled a 'Womping Willow'.
Lovely views of the river from here towards Mill Creek.
The cache is a micro so no room for swaps.
