A small, family orientated cache placed to memorialize the great Physicists of the past.
Galileo Galilei (1564 – 1642), commonly known as Galileo, was an Italian physicist, astronomer and philosopher. His achievements include improvements to the telescope and its application to observational astronomy (e.g., The Galilean moons of Jupiter), as well as the development of the subject of Kinematics (i.e., Galilean reference frames, uniformly accelerated motion, etc).
Galileo's championing of Copernicanism (i.e., A heliocentric Solar System) was controversial and resulted in his being persecuted by the Inquisition and his eventual lifetime house arrest.
