One of a set of small, family orientated caches placed to memorialize the great Physicists of the past.
Sir Isaac Newton (1643 – 1727) was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and alchemist. His monograph "Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica", published in 1687, lays the foundations for most of Classical Mechanics. In this work, Newton described Universal Gravitation and the three laws of motion, which dominated the scientific view of the universe for the next three centuries.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential people in history, Newton built the first practical reflecting telescope and, with Liebnitz, developed the Differential and Integral Calculus.
In a letter to Robert Hooke, Newton is quoted as saying "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." Todays scientists and engineers have seen as far as they have only because they stand on the shoulders of this giant.
