Cache In Weed Out: Help remove invasive exotic weeds from Paynes Prairie!
Learn about exotic plants at Paynes Prairie, be ready to get your hands dirty, and finally enjoy some time spent OFF the trail! For more information, Call 352-466-4966. Garbage bags will be provided. If you can, bring your work gloves, sunscreen, bug spray and water bottle.

There will be a trackable geocoin commemorating the Viva Florida 500 weekend of events at Paynes Prairie available for purchase. Please post your anticipated attendance so we can ensure enough supplies for all. So - Save The Date! What we are after…..

This is a follow up CITO to the Viva Florida 500 Event which is taking place on Saturday June 8th. If you haven’t looked it up yet go to GC4885Z. Or visit http://coord.info/GC4885Z If you can’t go to the all day caching event then join us around the campfire for yet another event: Sunset and Campfire with a Prairie Ranger. This campfire event is for campers only and is taking place June 8th at 8:00pm. Check it out, a good time to be had by all. So in short, you have the Viva Florida 500 Event and the Campfire Event on June 8th and to wind it all up a CITO on June 9th. Make your camping reservations NOW!
