Forming part of an agricultural unit housing, the urban complex of Quinta da Musgueira translates a set of buildings, in which the most significant date century. And early eighteenth century. XIX. Set there are the dwellings of the owners and home, the rooms and the agricultural system to capture, store and distribute water.
The housing owners, following the sloping ground, features a paved front terrace, bordered by alegretes decorated with polychrome tiles of the Old Mill Santana.
While the main facade, single floor, is torn from the stone framed doors, windows alternating with breast molduração the same type, the remaining facades are structured in three floors, the latter being further back in relation to the main elevation .
The housing of the home, a simpler construction, features sash windows, smaller, framed to sing. The rural setting of the Fifth Musgueira is conferred on it by the mills, barns, barn, stable, stables, which dot the property, as well as the system to capture and store water, in that, being supplied by the source itself and old tank of the garden, the farm is self-sufficient.
Constituindo a parte habitacional de uma unidade agrícola, o conjunto urbano da Quinta da Musgueira traduz um conjunto de edificações, em que as mais significativas datam do séc. XVIII e inícios do séc. XIX. Do conjunto destacam-se as habitações dos proprietários e dos caseiros, os cómodos agrícolas e o sistema de captação, armazenamento e distribuição de água.
A habitação dos proprietários, acompanhando o desnível do terreno, apresenta um terraço frontal empedrado, delimitado por alegretes decorados com azulejos polícromos da Antiga Fábrica de Santana. Enquanto que a fachada principal, de piso único, é rasgada por portas envidraçadas emolduradas a cantaria, alternando com janelas de peito de molduração do mesmo tipo, as restantes fachadas estruturam-se em três pisos, sendo o último mais recuado em relação ao alçado principal.
A habitação dos caseiros, de construção mais simples, apresenta janelas de guilhotina, de menores dimensões, emolduradas a cantaria.
O ambiente rural da Quinta da Musgueira é-lhe conferido pelos lagares, celeiros, vacaria, cavalariça, cocheiras, que pontuam a propriedade, assim como pelo sistema de captação e armazenamento de água, na medida em que, sendo abastecida por fonte própria e pela antiga cisterna do jardim, a quinta é auto-suficiente.
