Geocache Description:

Globberdyke is an affectionate name for the area in and around Gomersal and Cleckheaton. Where the name came from, nobody actually knows... in fact, we only really know one person who refers to the area in such a way. Some of the 13 caches in this 3 mile series will give the values for the co-ordinates for a bonus cache (GC4D84T), which is a nice size for swaps and travel bugs etc. Some of the footpaths may be muddy after wet weather, but should be suitable for a pushchair.

From number 2, continue down the footpath towards the cache. When you reach the end of the path, head up the banking for a quick find. Hopefully. Once found, please take care of small geocachers by the busy road. Notice the difference in the quality of the roof at the nearby factory. Damage caused by a recent explosion had only just been repaired at the time of publication. Bring your own pencil. The original cache was rated as 1/1, we have upped the terrain to 1.5 for its new location.
