A cache assinala uma praia pouco frequentada, conhecida por “Calhau da Serra de Dentro”, situada na parte Oeste da Ilha de Porto Santo.
Ao contrário de muitas praias na ilha, esta é constituída unicamente por calhaus ou seixos de rochas vulcânicas, sendo foz da Ribeira da Serra de Dentro, que é o canal de drenagem de uma das maiores bacias hidrográficas do Porto Santo.
Devido às correntes marítimas e à falta de limpeza, esta praia apresenta muitos objetos estranhos ao local que são devolvidos pelo mar. Se tiver disponibilidade traga algo, ajudando a limpar a praia.
Na falésia mais a Sul, por cima da zona de rebentação, é possível ver vestígios de uma pequena parede, provavelmente de um silo. Nesta área existia referência a um porto com a designação de “Porto das Cagarras”.
A Cache: Estacione junto à estrada de asfalto e siga pelo caminho de terra batida até final. Depois procure o trilho que continua em direção ao mar, seguindo as opções pela esquerda para evitar ir até ao leito da Ribeira. A cache está escondida no limite da praia com as Tamargueiras, a vegetação caraterística desta área.
The cache marks an uncrowded beach, known for " Serra de Dentro Pebble ", located in the western part of the Porto Santo island.
Contrary to many beaches on the island, this is constituted solely by stones or pebbles of volcanic rocks, being the mouth of the Ribeira da Serra de Dentro.
Due to ocean currents and the lack of cleanliness, this beach has many strange objects that are returned by the sea. If available bring something, helping to clean the beach.
Further south on the cliff, above the surf zone, it is possible to see traces of a small wall, probably from a silo. In this area there was reference to a port with the name "Cagarras Port".
The Cache: Park next to the asphalt road and follow the path to the end. Then look for the trail continues towards the sea, following the options on the left to avoid going to the bed of the riverside. The cache is hidden at the edge of the beach with tamarisk vegetation characteristic of the area.
