PARK @ intersection of Electric Ave & Franconia Dr N 43*16.320 W071*36.497 for a nice walk through the woods then along the canal. PARK on Island Rd @ the dam for a lovely walk along the canal.
The canal is manmade & V shaped at the bottom so it has a turbine type strong current to go into the electric plant further down. It looks calm on the surface but we took the kayak down it once ... weeeeeeee! ... what a ride
No swimming or wading!
