Cache placed in a wooded and boggy area behind a new church.
---BEGINNING TRASNMISSION---
This is Alpha. I have placed my first cache "CACHE ALPHA" in a small woods behind a Church in the town of North East, Pennsylvania. The area is pretty small, a 1/10 mile long strip following a creek to the lake. However the area has moderate vegitation and boggy areas. Waders should not be required, but they or shoes you can afford to get wet may be useful. There is a trail leading to a highway, but that is going in the wrong direction! (A nice walk, however.)

The cache is contained inside a normal ammunition box with the letters "GEO" stenciled on the outside. If you see the letters, you got the cache. There are a few CDs, including a few that are a special mix I made just for my fellow GeoCachers. (Please take ONE of the CDs, please! I will make more over time!) There is ALSO a Base-10/100 PCMCIA Ethernet card up for grabs, and a few more things! There isn't much room in the box. A small nonfiction math/science paperback would be a great gift to leave for me. ;-)

The cache is not submerged in a swampy area- it is on dry ground. If you need hits, go to the hits/spoiler area. GOOD LUCK!

Another older cache found! Out celebrating my birthweek with another afternoon cache run. I decided to not just have a birthday this year and today makes four afternoons in a row. This is the seventh oldest cache that I've found. Wasn't quite sure of the best approach for this one so I pretty much just went down over the bank into the woods. It's pretty swampy here and I bet it's much worse in the Spring. After looking around a bit, I saw the container a bit from my GZ, completely exposed. After signing the log I rehid it with a bit of cover although there wasn't much around. Thanks for the cache.
