This is the sixth of a series of caches, which will bring you to some archeologically proven Guanche locations in the 'Menceyato de Abona'.
This is the only cache of the series, which I will NOT dedicate to someone else, as this cave started my strong interest in the Guanche history of Abona.
One of the most embarrassing archeological incidences on the island of Tenerife in the last century was the discovery and the brute destruction of the necropolis in the 'Cueva de Uchova' near San Miguel de Abona. The cave contained the largest Guanche cemetery ever discovered on the island and could have been a great archeological document of Guanche culture. The cave contained between 50 and 70 mummies and skeletons of Guanches with pieces of grave furniture. Within weeks after the discovery the cave was plundered by thousands of people from San Miguel, Granadilla, Arona, Vilaflor and other villages entering the cave and stealing bones, skulls, pieces of grave furniture, everything. None of the officials, who got early notice of the discovery was able to inhibit the exploitation of the cave.
So, what is left nowadays from this great architectural discovery is a totally empty cave at its place and some remains in the 'Museo Arqueológico del Cabildo de Tenerife' in Santa Cruz. In the whole area there are a lot of caves including inside the barranco, so it is possible that there was also a Guanche village many centuries ago.
Only go for this cache, if you do not fear the ghosts of the guanches.
This is a mystery cache with TWO stages . In the first cache box, you will find coordinates and description, how to get to the entrance of the cave and where in the cave you will find the little box with its logbook Before you go to find this cache make sure you have THE PLAN OF THE CAVE WITH YOU, otherwise you will fail. Also make sure, that you note down ALL the information in the first cache. YOU WILL NEED IT TOO
To go for the cache you need: a good Torch (better 2 or 3), a safety helmet, be free of giddiness, very good walking shoes, a partner - NEVER go alone, THE PLAN OF THE CAVE. and an adventurous mind

Eso es el sexto de una serie de caches, que te traiga a algunos lugares de Guanches, arqueológico verificado, en el 'Menceyato de Abona'.
Este es el sólo cache de la serie, que NO dedicaré a otra persona, porque esta cueva comencó mi ínteres en la historia de los Guanches en Abona.
Uno de los hechos más bochornosos que cabe registrar en el último siglo en la isla Tenerife era el yaciemiento y la brutal destrucción de la necrópolis en la 'Cueva de Uchova' cerca de San Miguel de Abona. La Cueva contenía el mayor cementerio, que se ha jamás detectado en la isla y podría ser un gran documento archeológico de la cultura de los Guanches. La cueva contenía entre 50 y 70 momias y esqueletos y utensilios domésticos. Dentro de semanas después del yacimiento entraban miles de personas de San Miguel, Granadilla, Arona, Vilaflor y otros pueblos en la cueva y robaron huesos, craneos y utensilios domésticos. Ninguno de los oficiales, que fueron informado en tiempo del yaciemiento, era capaz, evitar el expollo.
Por eso, lo único, que todavía existe hoy de este gran yacimiento archeológico, es una cueva totalmente vacía y unos restos en el 'Museo Arqueológico del Cabildo de Tenerife' en Santa Cruz. En toda le región hay un montón de cuevas en particular en el barranco, por eso es muy probable, que allá existía un pueblo Guanche hace muchos siglos.
Solo visites este cache, cuando no tienes miedo de los espectros de los Guanches.
Eso es un Mystery de DOS pasos. En la primera caja encuentres coordenadas y una descripción como llegas hasta la entrada de la cueva y donde en la cueva encuentras la pequeña caja con el libreto. Antes de irte, asegurate, que TIENES EL PLANO DE LA CUEVA contigo, en caso contrario no vas a completar el cache con éxito. También asegúrate, que anotas TODA la información en el primer cache. LO NECESITARÀS.
Visitando el cache nececitas: una linterna buena (mejor 2 o tres), un casco protector, no tener vértigo de la altura, botas deportativas muy buenas, un compañero - no te vas SOLO, EL PLANO DE LA CUEVA y el ánimo de una aventura.

Dies ist ein Mystery mit ZWEI Stages. In der ersten Box findest Du Koordinaten und eine Beschreibung, wie Du zum Eingang der Höhle kommst und wo in der Höhle Du die kleine Box mit dem Logbuch findest. Bevor Du losziehst, stelle sicher, daß Du den PLAN DER HÖHLE DABEI HAST, andernfalls wirst Du nicht erfolgreich sein. Stelle auch sicher, daß Du ALLE Informationen aus dem ersten Cache dabei hast. DU WIRST SIE BRAUCHEN.
Um den Cache zu besuchen, brauchst Du: eine gute Lampe (besser 2 oder 3), einen Schutzhelm, Schwindelfreiheit, sehr gute Wanderschuhe, einen Partner - geh NICHT allein, DEN PLAN DER HÖHLE und für ein Abenteuer gewappnet sein.
