Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden near the top of Waitts Mountain with pretty views of downtown Boston to the south, Logan airport, Tobin bridge, etc. Usually, there is always a breeze - quite pleasant in the spring and summer; strong in the fall (good for kite flying); and chilling in the winter. Speaking of the forth season: the cache should be accessible in the winter as well - unless there is really a lot of snow.

The cache is easily accessible: no bush-whacking necessary. If the approach is taken from the top, then the direct path is likely blocked by a fence, which can easily and quickly be circumvented. This is certainly recommended especially if you have children in your group.

The rocky surface on or near the peak is inviting for a picnic, while enjoying the scenic views.

Waitts Mountain offers an enjoyable loop to walk around its rocky peak, and a basketball court and small playground on its north side.

Final note of caution: Please be watchful of the unfortunate amount of glass that lies scattered on the rocks!
