Miss Sally is a great friend of mine. I met her when she became my painting instuctor, about 10 years ago. I have seen her every Saturday since then (except for my Princeton hiatus). She has battled, survived and won the battle against breast cancer. Well, apparently that wasn't enough, so now she is waging her own personal war on colon cancer. I drive out this way every 3 weeks to pick her up for chemo. I am her chemo buddy. Although sitting watching someone go through chemo for 4 hours is a horrible thing, it provides absolute 1:1 quiet time together where we just talk. It is awesome for that reason only. Miss Sally is once again kicking CANCER's arse and she has a ton of supporters rooting for her. Please join me in wishing Miss Sally much more success and better times ahead soon.
