I travel this route delivering pellets and boilers every week, so have watched the prior cache here over the last years. When I tried to make the find (Not easy to do with a large delivery truck) the sign had been stolen, so also the cache. It was never replaced.
Being retired from the Air Force for about 7 years now, and an avid geocacher, I still like to frequent this type of venue. Today, I stopped in on a quest for some geocaching goodies and ended up speaking with the owner. They actually miss the geocache that was here and enjoyed talking to the geocachers about it and would like it replaced with another geocache. We just happened to have the perfect ammo can to fill the bill. We loaded the ammo can, picked a hidey hole, showed the owner the cache and cache location and she was happy.
I hope you all enjoy the smiley as you drive by. Who doesn't love an ammo can?
