This is a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency(TWRA) managed area.
Hunting permitted Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only. All hunting ends January 31st. All waterfowl hunting ends at noon.
Most people who use this property park on the shoulder of Thrasher Pike or just across the creek at the corner of Thrasher Pike and Frontage Road. You should familiarize yourself with hunting rules and hunting season before you attempt this cache. Hunting is only allowed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only. All hunting ends January 31st. Lands like this are supported in large part by taxes and fees paid by hunters and fisherman. Please be courteous of the hunters during these months or the TWRA will put a stop to the caches on these areas. You have to abide by all the rules the hunters have to live by including the proper amount of orange during hunting season.
Having said all this, the plot of land is small enough and close enough to civilization that there are severe restrictions on what hunters can even use here, so you are more likely to encounter nobody, or perhaps some fishermen at the nearby lake.
