Prior to Dec 2008 GC1663P Cobblers Harvester and Vista a Multi Cache by ducat was located nearby and was based on information collected from an old Sunshine Harvester that was located near the Teakle Farm House Ruins at S 34º 46.775 E 138º 41.465.
The cache was archived when the harvester was removed from the park.
The old harvester reminded ducat of a similar discarded machine on his childhood Wimmera plains farm.
The harvester would have been manufactured at the H V McKay works in Sunshine Victoria around the early 1900’s. The factory produced a wide variety of innovative farm machinery for about 100 years before closing in the 1980’s.
The cache GC4MQWN Cobblers Reel Sunshine and Vista has been created in recognition of the interesting caches by ducat in the past and to provide the current generation of geocachers the chance to learn some historical facts associated with the Sunshine Harvester.

The date (ABCDEFGH) the Sunshine Harvester was patented.
The year (WXYZ) the wages and conditions of the McKay workers were used as a test case to determine the "basic wage" for all male workers in Australia.
