This cache will be found about 100 feet off the access road to the state camp ground at mt sunapee state park Short up hill walk to the old quarry
There is a first to find prize in the cache
When the railroads were being built in the 1800s the company that was building would go off the right of way when nessary to quarry stone for bridge abutments culverts and headers as well as foundations for railroad buildings along the route. This is a relatively small quarry compaired to some but it is a part of the history of the railroad through this area.
