Remembering Lima Station Traditional Cache

Cache # 167.

While you are travelling around this area you might like to gather some of the information for the long multi 'Stationery Peak' GCVC8G to save double-tracking at a later date.

The sign for 'LIMA' is in a direct line across the paddock, quite some distance from the plaque. This cache can be accessed easily from Swanpool/Moorngag Road or from the Benalla/Moorngag Road.

From 1914 to 1947 the Tatong branch railway ran from Benalla to Tatong via Karn, Lima and Mallum.

After fading into the landscape for over 60 years the Tatong Railway Precinct was unveiled on the 11 March 2006 at the four station sites.
