Geocache Description:

Glenaughburn park is nestled almost perfectly within the meanders of the Plenty River

The baseball diamond here is home to the Research Baseball club.

While they are using the grounds in both Winter and Summer, they have not only a wonky shaped diamond (open up any maping program to confirm this) but there is also a cricket pitch in the middle of Left field.

A home ground advantage is not a heavily guarded secret but known only to those familiar with the ground. Right field is only an abbreviated 85m deep. Due to the local topography, the rivers path, and the amount of cut and fill council had available at the time; makes this an easy home run distance! Made even easier if you are a Southpaw. The right field boundary (in some perverse way of compensatory geography) is almost 110m!
