How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The first stage will have a beacon, a Garmin ‘Chirp’ which will beam the needed info to compatible devices.  Cachers without a compatible device will have to overcome a physical challenge.

This Multi Cache will take you around Keyes conservation land. The final stage will provide you with a physical cache and an intangible bonus. There are paths across parts of the conservation land. You could make a bee line from stage to stage with some with light bushwhacking. No heavy bushwhacking is needed. All stages should be able to be completed by cacher on foot or on a mountain bike. Note there are many fallen trees providing obstacles. All cachers should be looking for.... directions on how to complete the final.

The first stage requires special equipment. In order to find this cache you must have a Garmin Oregon (except 200), Dakota 20, GPSMAP 62 or GPSMAP 78 running the latest software which supports Garmin chirp.
