My friend Rob drags me to Florida every year for a weekend. Florida, Massachusetts. Which isn't as warm and sunny as you'd think, given the name. But it does have some good hikes and some nice foliage if you time it right. (OK, it's really over the border in Savoy, MA, but Savoy isn't as humorous.) We've run out of nearby geocaches, so we decided to hide our own. It was kind of gray and rainy that day (Rob has a knack for picking gray and rainy weekends), so we didn't pick anything too challenging. Just a nice stroll around the pond. You won't see any manatees in the pond, but maybe some otter.
