CONGRATULATIONS TO ENJOYLIFE2 FOR AN EARLY MORNING COLD WET F.T.F.
I'd also like to commend the first two finders on writing decent logs. A log is a thank you note for planing, creating, hiding and maintaining a cache. Logs that say "T.F.T.C, Found it, Found while in area" or just "Thanks" show a total lack of gratitude to the C.O.
I have a long history with the Cook's Pond area. My uncle once owned a large piece of property on the pond and on that property there were two cottages that were eventually destroyed by kids partying there. My Grandfather would take us there on walks as a kid. Later on as a Boy Scout our troop would go camping there and explore the woods and trails. The area now has been closed off to vehicular traffic because of illegal dumping it is now a wildlife mgmt area and is slowly returning to the way nature intended. The walk to the cache should take you less than fifteen minutes and is very easy the last hundred feet or so is an up hill bush whack though. Please take special care to camouflage the cache back to or better than the way you found it so others may enjoy it for a long time to come.
Please bring your own pen or sharpie as the log is made of M.T's waterproof vinyl and pencil or gel tip wont write on it.
Please, Please Please... No " T.F.T.C" or "Found while in area" or "Found it" logs. We'd love to hear your input on the area and or the cache.
