in our disclaimer.
This cache is placed at the intersection of the RRR and Fitch Trails. All caches along this trail are placed to be found easily and are winter friendly. The higher terrain rating is just for the hills, mud and occasional tree.
PLEASE make sure to properly close container. Feel free to replace wet logs and take any loose log pages.
I have numbered this "6" since I think there is room for more on the trail before this, I have no intention of placing them myself, So Go For It!
GPS signal is sometimes a little sketchy along the RRR
The Fitch trail is well maintained and runs apx 1.1 miles then runs in to the RRR trail. The RRR trail is not well maintained and can be muddy with a tree or 2 to step over. If taken West from Fitch trail the RRR goes apx 1 mile to Petersburg Rd then continues on up to the Taconic Crest, or if taken East runs about 3/4 mile back to Bee Hill road 1/2 mile below Fitch parking area.
Thanks to Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation for permission to use their trails and place caches.
A map of their trails can be found at www.wrlf.org/
