Proof that you do not have to go far to find some huffing and puffing in VT
It's the day after Thanksgiving and after eating about a gazillion calories yesterday it seemed like a good idea to hike up here and burn some off. Although it not far from where some of us work I would not consider it to be a "lunch bunch" type cache. Nor would I recommend it in dress shoes (unless you got some creepers on over them It is more of a red sled type cache if you know what I mean, A great hike for those who like to feel their heart thump- thumping in their chest. At the cache you are rewarded with a great view. On a clear day you can see forever (or at least to I-89). Although there seems to be more that one way up to it unless your name is Crashco or Ski-guide I would recommend staying on the carriage trail to the end. It is possible to access the cache without going through picker bushes (again if you are not Crashco or Ski-guide or someone else of that ilk).Enjoy the view, enjoy the climb, burn some holiday calories. I had to move this cache back away from the edge in order to comply with the saturation requirements. Please take the time to walk the short distance so you can enjoy the view from the top of the town.
