Enjoy Arlington's Parks and Playgrounds
The Summer Street Parks Series highlights several playgrounds and ball fields which are only part of the local attractions. The area hosts the Veterans Memorial Skating Rink and the Arlington Recreation Department offices and many other landmarks. Adjacent to the Minuteman Bike Path and nearby to Massachusetts Avenue, one can arrive here by many forms of transportation. Come, visit and enjoy our parks. This cache is a simple traditional cache and the first of the series. Disclaimer- Arlington youth enjoy the park and sometimes hangout near the cache area, especially near the old bleachers, where they leave their trash. I have a recommended entry point with a trail that avoids the bleachers. Please don't use a shortcut that brings you through the bleachers and then complain about the trash. If you choose that route, bring a bag and help me keep it clean.
