Geocache Description:

A simple P&G nano cache at a historical site. Please bring your own writing utensil. Some of your may recall finding the final of a CRAZY DIAMONDS puzzle at this site a few years ago.

This memorial sign commemorates what once stood very close to the site: the Solomon Sanitarium and Attleboro Springs. A brief history of the Sanitorium and Springs can be found here. Both the sanitarium and the springs were destroyed by a fire in late 1999 and were not rebuilt. A timeline denoting the history of the area can be found here.

Many of you may know this area because of the popular La Salette shrine with its impressive Christmas lights and scenery just behind the sign.

As mentioned before, you're looking for a simple nano cache hidden low on the sign so you will need to BYOP. Please replace it as you found and make sure the magnet catches so it doesn't fall to the base of the sign. This is a semi-busy road, so please use stealth if at all possible. Thanks, enjoy the history and this little spot!
