Geocache Description:

Flash Mob at the First Capital

This event is a flash mob gathering of geocachers who are here attending Geowoodstock XII (GC4BGXM) and any other geocachers who are so motivated to make the trek to historic St. Charles.

Like many other flash mobs, this event will last precisely 15 minutes. The event will begin precisely at 11:00 a.m. and will end at 11:15 a.m. sharp. It will take place in downtown St. Charles, in front of the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site.

EVENT DETAILS

(10:45-10:58 a.m.) All geocachers wishing to be a part of this flash mob should wait patiently in their vehicle, stroll around the area, sit on a bench or otherwise act like a muggle.

(10:59 a.m.) Everyone should make his or her way toward the event coordinates.

The coordinates are for the sidewalk in front of the First Capitol building, and this is where you should gather. Please do not block the road! Just stretch either way down the sidewalk in front of the building.

(11:00 a.m.) Gather with your fellow geocachers, sign the log if you like and gather for a group photo!

(11:15 a.m.) The event area will be evacuated without a trace. Get out and do some local geocaching, check out downtown St. Charles or do whatever strikes your fancy.

NOTE: While there are a number of new geocaches published for the Geowoodstock XII event and the whole area is prime for geocaching, be sure to take a few moments to check out the historic site at which this event is located. There is even a really neat virtual cache (GCB4C4) here as well! Be sure to check this place out!
