Architecte Paul Hankar. 1897. Sur 12 mètres de façade, Hankar développe le thème de la maison d’artiste. Au 2e étage, l’atelier proprement dit est éclairé par deux vastes fenêtres en fer à cheval, motif de type mauresque, que l’architecte appréciait particulièrement. Le 3e étage est constitué d’un alignement de sept fenêtres.

In this house completed in 1897 for the Symbolist painter Albert Ciamberlani, the architect Paul Hankar expresses his geometric, balanced and harmonious style of Art Nouveau. Most of the facade of this remarkable building is covered with sgraffiti which were restored in 2006.

In dit huis uit 1897, bestemd voor de symbolistische schilder Albert Ciamberlani, drukt Paul Hankar de wens uit om zich te richten op een geometrische, evenwichtige en harmonieuze art-nouveaustijl. De in 2006 gerestaureerde sgraffito's beslaan het grootste deel van de gevel van dit opmerkelijke bouwwerk.
