The CITO hike starts at 10:30 and will clean up the Olive Street trail. Join us in a beautiful part of Los Alamos. In honor of Earth Day, the theme is Recycled Cache Containers.  Do you have material you’ve been meaning to use as a container?  Do you just have a lot of coffee containers and pill bottles lying around?  Have something unique, but just not sure how to put it to Geocaching use?  Bring them to share or trade!  Or show other cachers how you turn every day items into a well-camouflaged cache! Trade and sharing will follow the CITO hike back at the coordinates given.

This weekend celebrates the 12th annual "Cache in Trash Out" for Groundspeak.

CITO trash bags will be available!  CITO geocoin door prize!

Event starts at 10am.  Bring the kids! This site is at the head of one of many local trailheads.  It is the perfect place for a picnic on the grass, so bring your cooler or pick up lunch on your way.

But being Los Alamos, please be prepared for changes in the weather. This is an outside event, but there are places to take some cover. There is a free environmental center nearby that will entertain children of all ages (open 10am – 1pm).
