Geocache Description:

Let's be islanders for the day!

(Difficulty and terrain ratings are for the event--including caches on the island would make the rating about a 3/3.)

Get some friends together--use the forum thread to arrange carpools. Take an early ferry to Guemes Island--Guemes Island ferry fares and schedule here.

There's a nice variety of caches there, including a challenge cache (Guemes Completus! a blackout Challenge), but only one store, as far as I know, so bring food, water, and a full tank of gas.

Let's meet at the posted coords at Hunts Park from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, for a brown-bag lunch event to share our caching adventures. If you're interested, we can walk along the beach to another cache (My Favorite Things) afterwards. It's no longer required for the challenge, but it's a great walk I'm eager to take again.
