Old MacDonald needs to paint the barn. It's not one of his favorite jobs and its been awhile since it was last painted. That means the barn will require scraping the old paint and then applying several coats to complete the job. At the farm, you can sit around and watch the grass grow. It grows fast. Or sit around and watch the paint dry. It dries slowly.
