Hello and welcome to the 8th cache in the Rogerstone Scouts Series.

This cache is placed in a well known national supermarket at Newport Retail Park. 

This retail park contains many well known national brands and offers goods such as: Clothing, Food and Drink, Clothing, Sporting, Beauty, Cars and House Hold Goods. It has been called Newport's second town centre after many national brands such as Marks and Spencers have moved from High Street to the retail park after much heavy criticism. The site also offers food outlets such as the new Pizza Express and Harvester as well as Pizza Hut and other well known chains offering venues for nights out. The park also offers entertainment with the 13 screen Cineworld Cinema. The building adjacent was the old Megabowl which has been vacant for the last 9 years after the firm entered financial difficulties and was one of the first branched to close. In fact the only remaining original megabowl site is in Swansea. Many plans have been put forward mainly for retail units however this has always been rejected as the planning authority have stated it should be for leisure use.

The cache itself is a nano and contains just a log book so BRING YOUR OWN PEN. The cache log has tiny spaces so please only initial and take up a maximum of 2 lines. It is close to the recycling facility so you can practice your CITO here! And if you time it well, you can search, find the cache, sign the log then arrive back at the shop just after your partner has paid for the groceries!

Please remember that this area is muggle central so stealth will be required.
