Named after a neighbor's (3-legged) dog and the fact the are three preliminary legs to gather clues to help you locate the final cache. I think the clues are somewhat challenging (a little math skill would help) but should lead you to the right spot.
Leg 1 (Rotted Tree): N 44 48.326, W91 32.568(N44.80543 W91.54280)
Head out to the point at the coordinates. There you will find several fallen trees. The coords are to the right tree but will you find it? Container is a camo covered peanut butter jar. It contains a clue needed to locate the final cache. PARKING: N44 48.407 W91 32.762
Leg 2 (Fallen Timber): N44 47.897 W91 32.341 (N44.79828 W91.53902)
Before you look for the cache, go to N44 47.888 W91 32.327 (NAD83) and enjoy. From there, head west 20.130 meters--there is a second monument (easily spotted). Now look for the cache. The opening is obvious as is the stash spot. In fact, when the leaves are off the trees, you can see the spot from the parking area......sort of. When you find the fallen timber, you should have clue #2. This container is also a camo covered peanut butter jar.
When you find monuments like those at this point, you can try to look them up at the National Geodetic Survey. Since these are known points, you can enter the coordinates ahead of time and see how accurate your readings are. I found this one by searching by USGS quad name (Eau Calire West) but other searched are available. This is what I did:

Placed at the base of the cliff. Under a rock. Problem is, which rock. Please rehide as found to keep difficulty level up. The scenery is worth the time spent searching. PARKING: N44 48.841 W91 28.607
Final Cache: N???? W?????
Once you've gathered the three clues, you should have enough info to locate the final cache. We've provided three different methods, so if one method doesn't work for you, there should be a couple other alternatives. Some math skills won't hurt, either. I tried to come up with a riddle--hope it makes sense.
The location of the final cache is an excellent place to "Cache in, Trach out" as it has more than its' share of garbage. The final location is kinda anti-climatic compared to the first three legs.
The "Goodies". The goodies vary depending on who finds the cache and if we come up with some cool stuff to stash in the cache. Other Stuff: I recommend that you research the legs before heading out--they can be easy or hard, depending on how you approach them.
All three legs and the final cache are located in either city parks or land open to the public, if you can't tell that it's ok for you to be there, you're probably not in the right spot.
I've now added parking information, I photo-interepted the coordinates, so they are really just estimates. For leg 1, you are basically just pulling off of the road onto an old road. Leg 2 has a regular parking area. Leg 3 is a parking area in a park. The parking coordinates are just to help find a place to park.
When going up/coming down leg 2, remember wood is slippery when wet--I smashed a finger coming down one morning.
