A Cache of Ice and Fire

The weirwood is a species of deciduous trees found all over Westeros. The five-pointed leaves and the sap of weirwoods are blood-red, while the smooth bark on their wide trunks and wood are bone white. Most weirwoods have faces carved into their trunks. This was done by the children of the forest in ancient days, and is now done by the free folk as well as other descendants of the First Men, such as followers of the old gods in the Seven Kingdoms praying to heart trees in godswoods. In some cases sap has collected in the crevices of the carved faces, giving the trees red eyes which have been known to drip sap as if the trees were weeping.

The Original went missing. No stamp now. I might replace in the future.

You will need to head south (Cross Geary) to find the Weirwood letterbox. You will take a short walk through the woods along the path. As you near the end of the forest (approaching Anza) you will see a gnarled tree to your left. Soon after you will see another gnarled tree on your right. This is where the original was. Now keep going till you hit a sidewalk. Turn left. Cross Street. Big green box on your left and it is now magnetic.

This is part of a series of caches based on "A Song of Ice and Fire."  These are the books that the TV show "A Game of Thrones" is based on.  Due to the unique nature of these caches, please make sure they are hidden exactly as you found them.  If they are muggled they can not be replaced.
