Black bear are often seen in this area.
This cache is the best place to park in good weather, for most vehicles. Parking at the intersection of East Washington Rd. and Bullards Crossing may be a better choice for some.
Six of the first Seven caches are an easy walk down a dirt road and then a nice wide trail with a beautiful view of Muddy Pond at the end.
Bittern and Hellbender are down a narrow side trail that is heavy with thorns.
Flying Fox and Tufted Deer are a whole other story. I only know two ways to get to them, BAD and WORSE (the way I went in and the way I came out).
Don't do it! Don't ruin your day by trying to get these two caches! Leave them for someone else! Someone who's crazy!
