MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

Hunt for Doggie's Delight stages 1 & 2 will give you the coordinates for the final Doggie Delight cache. Full of treats and toys, Doggie Delight is a cache not to miss if you are a dog owner.

This short series is dedicated to Abbey, the smartest dog we've ever known--a golden retriever who lived to the age of 16 in Antrim, NH. She was an escape artist, and loved to roam. Because of this, she spent most of her time outdoors on a leash, and Gregg Lake was one of her all-time favorite places to walk. Hunt for Doggie's Delight 1 is located at White Birch Point on Greg Lake. The neighborhood kids used to wait for the bus under this pavilion--perhaps they still do. It's a great place to walk your dog and there is a plastic bag dispenser for cleaning up after your pooch.
