We wanted to bring some people into downtown Shirley. Don't blink or you will miss it!! This is a very small but nice park, and we don't think it is frequented nearly enough. Take a moment (that is all you will need anyway) to review the monuments located here. They are for WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.
You can park on the little side streets around the park, just don't park on the main street. Signs are posted.
Please observe and obey the posted speed limit through this area. It is a small town, so fortunately the police don't have a whole lot to keep them busy. I read that this is one of two streets that they issue the most tickets on. You have been warned.
