This is another pretty area in Shirley where you can go fishing. It's called Bow Brook Reservoir.
There are two spots where you can cross over the water (V is only 5' and it is quite a stretch for her, so something to think about with the kiddies or pups) on your way to the cache. If you don't want to risk stepping over these gaps, there is a way you can approach by land very close by, where there is a gate and no water crossings. You should be able to park in the lot across the street.
There is plenty of wildlife here too. While doing a second check on the coordinates, we saw a Blue Heron, a very large turtle, and a good sized garter snake. We aren't sure what kind of fish you can catch here, but I know that the guy that was fishing when we arrived was pretty upset because the large turtle was scaring all of the fish away.
