Geocache Description:

In addition to completing merit badges and serving in a position of responsibility, to earn the Eagle rank a Scout must complete an Eagle Service Project: "While a Life Scout, plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to any religious institution, any school, or your community. (The project must benefit an organization other than Boy Scouting.) A project proposal must be approved by the organization benefiting from the effort, your unit leader and unit committee, and the council or district before you start".

To complete your Eagle Service Project you must work your way through this multi. All stages except for the final are within 15 ft of the trail. (The final is about 35 ft from the trail) You are welcome to bring your own tools with you, but everything you need is provided. Please make sure all stages are replaced and reset as you found them.

The cache is located in the Hinesburg Town Forest Trails at the end of Hayden Hill Rd West. Round trip is about 3 miles along well defined trails. Parking and trail head can be found at 44°19.768 73°02.685 .
