Take a walk or short ride to the top of Thompson's Hill on the Queenstown Trails walk/cycleway to this ammo can cache.
The views are stunning, the walk an easy one, about 2km each way from the carpark, and if you're on a bike it's a quick 5-10 minute burst or take some time and do the whole ride on the Lake Hayes Estate section of the trail.
Please re-cover well to hide the cache from passing muggles, and keep an eye out for cyclists - it's a busy trail!
