I was born in Middletown Springs, and currently live in Middlebury Vt, so I decided to create the "Stuck in the Middle" series. I have already placed 3 caches in these 2 towns, and unfortunately there are not many more "Middle" towns in Vermont (I will eventually get to Middlesex), so I needed to find other spots that woudl fit my "Middle" theme. Some will be in the middle of various towns; some will be in the middle of two other towns.
This is a quick park and grab in Castleton. I was on a mission to pick up some towns for the VT251+4 cache; Castleton was one of them. While there, I decided to place this quick cache. Not much to recommend this spot in particular, but Castelton itself is a nice little college town & worth a visit. If this cache gives you a reason to drive through town, then the mission is accomplished.
